EL CORAZON

El Corazon - the heart. When you walk through the threshold of this Latin inspired restaurant you are immediately greeted by a big mossy heart, hanging greens and a modern interior. Depending on where you'd be seated, the proposed mural would be viewed through intricate swirled iron screens. With this in mind we needed to come up with something that would be relatively easy to view through these screens while not competing with them, and complement the existing decor. We decided on a mix of native plants from Mexico, South America and Spain. Spain ended up being more difficult than anticipated, but in the end we went with a cork tree and some Spanish broom amongst others. See if you can peep the hearts masquerading as leaves.
